<p>Petites Singularités est une association sans but lucratif
établie à Bruxelles.</p>
<p>L’association a pour but de porter un regard différent sur
l’esthétique transindividuelle dans le cadre des collectivités
et leurs pratiques numériques.</p>
<p>Petites Singularités porte des projets esthétiques sous
diverses formes libres adaptées à leur expression et leur
diffusion auprès du public. Recherche-action littéraire,
poétique, artistique, logicielle, philosophique, vivante, les
Petites Singularités éditent, publient, produisent, hybrident,
accompagnent, invitent, voyagent.</p>
<p>Nous pensons l’organisation et l’action collectives dans la
production du sens au regard de la localité et de
l’hybridation des humains et de la technologie ; nous
transmettons des solutions concrètes et significatives à des
groupes locaux.</p>

<h2>About Petites Singularités</h2>
<p>Petites Singularités is a non-profit association
established in Brussels.</p>
<p>The association aims to bring a different outlook on
transindividual aesthetics with regard to local collectives
and their digital practices.</p>
<p>Petites Singularités holds aesthetical projects under
various free forms adapted to their expression and their
public dissemination. Literary, poetic, artistic, software,
philosophical, lively research-action, Petites Singularités
edit, publish, produce, hybridize, support, invite,
travel.</p>
<p>We think collective organization and action in the
production of meaning in the local hybridization of humans and
technology; we transmit concrete and significant solutions to
local groups.</p>

<p lang="fr">La vie est menacée sur notre planète, ce qui
pourrait être d'une importance universelle. Alors qu'une
vision réductionniste domine à présent la planète et
prospère en propageant son orgueil démesuré, la vie
complexe est en jeu. Nous ne pouvons la défendre en
restant assis devant nos ordinateurs, mais nous pouvons
utiliser l'Internet pour coordonner nos actions de
résistance au Pouvoir Intimement Brutal (PIB). C'est ce
que fait Petites Singularités : usant de l'Internet pour
découvrir, explorer et rassembler des alternatives à
l'<em>hubris</em> extractiviste et à sa soif
d'épuisement. Nous sommes vivants et désirons vous
rencontrer en personne pour amplifier nos actions.</p>
<h4 lang="en">Resistance & Engagement</h4>
<p lang="en">Life is under threat on our planet, which
might be of universal significance. As reductionist
thought has taken over the planet and thrives propagating
its hubris, complex life is at risk. We won't defend it by
sitting in front of our computers, but we can use the
Internet to coordinate our actions of resistance to the
Global Disorder of Power (GDP). This is what Petites
Singularités is doing: using the Internet to discover,
explore, and bring together alternatives to the
extractivist hubris and thirst for exhaustion. We're alive
and want to meet you in person to amplify our actions.</p>

<h4>État des Lieux</h4>
<p><span class="ps">P.S.:</span> se déploie au cœur de la
ville, dans des lieux significatifs qui accompagnent notre
réflexion et accueillent nos actions.</p>
<p>Nous insistons sur l'importance de l'ancrage de la
théorie et de la pratique technologiques dans l'espace
local où se maillent les fibres sociales dans le
quotidien. On entend donc par réseaux sociaux les
relations humaines qui s'y développent: une carte n'est
pas le territoire, et les réseaux sociaux qui
investissent l'espace des réseaux électroniques sont
irréductibles aux services en ligne qui les
transforment.</p>
<p>Au ♥ des contradictions: de la friche urbaine aux
jardins collectifs ; au ♥ du quartier: une occupation
communautaire ; au ♥ des réseaux sociaux: chez soi.</p>

the city, in significant places that accompany our
reflection and welcome our actions.</p>
<p>We emphasize the importance of anchoring
technological theory and practice in the local space
where social fibers mesh in everyday life. Therefore, by
social networks we understand the human relations that
develop in them: a map is not the territory, and the
social networks that invest the space of electronic
networks are irreducible to the online services that
transform them.</p>
<p>At the ♥ of contradictions: from urban wilderness to
collective gardens; at the ♥ of the neighborhood: a
community occupation; at the ♥ of social networks: at
home.</p>

<h4>Enquêtes vidéos</h4>
<p>Ces enquêtes portent sur des personnes engagées dans
leur communauté par des projets vivants et
autonomes. Chaque vidéo témoigne d'un acte situé et de
son expérience vécue. Elles nous emmènent, au fil des
rencontres, dans une série d'aventures qui gravitent
autour de la possibilité de l'autonomie, la valeur de
l'initiative et de son ancrage dans la communauté. La
puissance de ces multiples initiatives contraste avec
l'austérité capitaliste qui en nie la vivacité ou même
l'existence. Avec ces portraits, il s'agit pour nous de
poursuivre notre exploration des petites singularités,
de construire l'image qui se forme au sein de <span
class="ps">P.S.:</span> par la correspondance entre la
réflexion et la rencontre : nouer cette
conversation...</p>

<h4>Video Inquiries</h4>
<p>These inquiries concern people engaged in their
community through lively and autonomous projects. Each
video testifies of a situated act and its lived
experience. They take us along, over encounters, in a
series of adventures that gravitate around the
possibility of autonomy, the value of initiative and its
anchoring in the community. The power of these multiple
initiatives contrasts with capitalist austerity that
denies its liveliness or even its existence. With these
portraits, we mean to continue our exploration of small
singularities, to build the image that forms within
<span class="ps">P.S.: </span> by the correspondence
between thinking and meeting: to tie this
conversation...</p>
